Dino Melaye; INEC Receives Recall Signatures
Kogi West Senatorial District on today Wednesday,sent signatures
from the electorates in Kogi West Senatorial District, asking for the recall of
Senator Dino Melaye from the Senate.
Six bags, which contained the signatures of 52.3 percent of the
electorates from the zone and other petitions, were submitted to the Commission
in Abuja on Wednesday, PUNCH reports.
Over 100,000 electorate in Melaye’s Senatorial District in Kogi
had had appended their signatures for the recall of the lawmaker.
Melaye had been in the eyes of the storm in recent time for the
wrong reason.
He is currently embroiled in a running battle with the Kogi State
Governor, Yahaya Bello and others
