Fishim of the Industrial Court may be arraigned by the EFCC before
a Lagos State High Court, Ikeja tomorrow.
The embattled judge
would be arraigned on 19 count charge instituted against him by the
Economics and Financial Crimes Commissions (EFCC).
According to the
information made available to us, the defendant would be arraigned on charges
bordering on unlawful enrichment by a public official contrary to section
82 of the criminal law of Lagos State.
The defendant who was
supposed to be arraigned before Justice Raliat Adebiyi at early hour of today
was stalled due to absence of the defendant in court.
The prosecution
counsel, Rotimi Oyedepo, informed the court that "my Lord the
defendant is yet in our custody, we expect him in our custody, but I can't tell
why we didn't see him."
Oyedepo however prayed
