Plateau to Conduct LGA Elections in 17 Councils Soon

The Plateau State Independent Electoral Commission (PLASIEC) on Monday indicated  that it is ready to conduct  local government elections in the 17 local government councils of the  state.

Chairman of (PLASIEC) Fabian Ntung made this known while addressing newsmen in Jos. 

He said  that    the  timetable and guidelines for the elections would be  released on Tuesday this week.

He stated that “we wish to inform political stakeholders and indeed the public that timetable and guidelines for the conduct of local government elections would released Tuesday .

“The elections is expected to be conducted in October 2021 he added
