The rift between dancehall sensational group Psquare has taken a new turn as Peter Okoye has written to their lawyer, Festus Keyamo, on September 21, 2017, demanding for the group to be disbanded.

According to the letter, Peter, who is now Mr P, made several allegations against his brother Paul and elder brother Jude Okoye, who was their manager.

Some parts of the letter suggested that Paul had been uncooperative in working with Peter. He also accused Paul of canceling their US tour without informing his brother Peter.

He also accused Paul of slandering his wife and children with lies on social media, and alleged that they’ve been receiving threatening messages.

Peter further accused his older brother Jude of once threatening to kill him and shoot his wife Lola. This allegedly happened in the presence of Paul and former first lady of Cross River state Mrs Imoke. Jude allegedly also threatened to bring a coffin for him (Peter) if he ever comes near his house.

This and many other issues like the abuse of Lola Omotayo, Peter’s wife has led to the decision to go solo. Peter has been pushing his Mr P brand more than ever.

Mr P, as he is called, maintains he still loves his brother and family but he wouldn’t choose him over his wife and kids.

Meanwhile, confirming the news, Peter said, “Psquare is no more. I have nothing against my brothers. I saw Paul’s post on Instagram about blood being thicker than water.’

‘Who is water and who is blood,’ Peter asked, adding that his nuclear family (wife and kids) are very important to him and he has decided to move on with his personal brand, Mr P
