Jimi Agbaje Emerges As PDP Governorship Candidate For Lagos

Jimi Agbaje has emerged the governorship candidate of Peoples Democratic Party in Lagos State.

He scored a total of 1,100 votes against his rival Adedeji Doherty who polled 742 votes in the party’s primary election.

Agbaje was the PDP candidate in the 2015 governorship election but lost to incumbent governor Akinwunmi Ambode.

He will in turn vie against the ruling APC candidate Babajide Sanwo-Olu for the position as the Governor of Lagos in the forthcoming elections in 2019
