Razaq Atunwa Emerges Kwara PDP Governorship Candidate

Former Speaker of the Kwara State House of Assembly, Razaq Atunwa has emerged the candidate of the PDP ahead 2019 Governorship elections.

Atunwa, who is currently a lawmaker in the House of Reps defeated Shaba Lafiagi in an election held in Ilorin, the Kwara State capital on Monday.

Eight(8) aspirants, including one of the leading aspirants, Bolaji Abdullahi had withdrawn from the race earlier on leaving Atunwa and Lafiagi in a two-horse race.

Atunwa is set to carry the party’s flag ahead 2019 elections in the state.
