This fixture will be decided or determined by the forms of both teams in the English Premier League. Incidentally and interestungly, City enjoys a better and stronger form so far even in the UCL where they strolled pass Schalke 04 via a 10-2 aggregate scoreline. Though, the Citizens are just a point ahead of Liverpool in the domestic scene but they have held onto the top spot in the greater part of the season. Spurs will need more than a miracle to stop City who are already dreaming of a likely double.

With red hot Sadio Mane and towering central defender Virgil Van Dijk in form perhaps Mohammed Salah who has been having a topsy turvy season could spring up to shoot the Reds above the Portuguese and into the semis and final.

That victory is the boost the Dutch side will be relying or riding on to conquer another top side Juventus in this competition. Ajax have the advantage of youthfulness and that could count heavily in this fixture just as Juventus will bank on experience given the calibre of players they have.
