Man Utd 'to complete one transfer' before signing Bruno Fernandes
Manchester
United want to sign a centre-back before landing Sporting Lisbon midfielder
Bruno Fernandes, according to reports from Portugal.
The Red
Devils have been strongly linked with a move for the Portugal international,
but are yet to make an official approach for his signature.
One player
United have bid for recently is Leicester City defender Harry
Maguire, and the Red Devils reportedly want to get a deal for him over the line
first before turning their attention to Fernandes.
Once a
transfer for Maguire, or a similar player, has been complete the Old Trafford
club will then look to improve their midfield.
Portuguese
newspaper A Bola, via Sport Witness claim United want to buy two
midfielders, with Fernandes being one of them.
United have
also been linked with a move for Lazio midfielder Sergej Milinkovic-Savic in
recent weeks.
But
transfers for Fernandes and Milinkovic-Savic could realistically only both be
completed if United sell Paul Pogba.
The France
international has hinted he wants out at Old Trafford this summer with
both Real
Madrid and Juventus keen on
signing him.
