See What Paulo Dybala Told Friends About to Man Utd Before Flying Back to Turin
Manchester
United transfer target Paulo Dybala has reportedly told friends in Argentina he
feels "betrayed" by Juventus as he considers a
move away.
According to
Juventus-focused website Il Bianconero ,
Dybala discussed his feelings with friends in Laguna Larga in his homeland
before he flew back to Turin ahead of the new season.
They claim
he had plans to play a huge role at Juventus under Maurizio Sarri and was even
aiming to prove himself as a potential captain of the Serie A giants in the
forthcoming season.
New boss
Sarri name-dropped Dybala as a player he could build his team around at his
first press conference as boss, leaving Dybala feeling angry at now being
considered part of a swap deal with Romelu Lukaku.
Further
reports from Italy have suggested Dybala could now be open to leaving Turin as
a result of his treatment, although he is yet to be convinced by a move to Old
Trafford.
He is also
the subject of links with Tottenham and
Inter Milan, with the lack of Champions League football at United a cause for
concern.
Lukaku is
said to be keen to accept a move to Juventus after his Inter Milan transfer did
not materialise because United's £75m valuation was not met.
The Belgian
striker is keen to exit Old Trafford, but Dybala could demand big wages in the
region of £350,000-a-week to make the move to the Premier League.
Dybala was
expected to have showdown talks with Sarri when he returned to Turin on
Thursday, although it is unclear whether those have yet taken place.
Discussions
between Juventus and Manchester
United to discuss a potential deal are ongoing as both clubs
work to complete their business before the transfer window shuts.
