ASO ROCK CLOSE TO LOCKDOWN
THERE are
palpable fears that ASO ROCK, Nigerians seat of power may be on a lock down
soon following the recent positive testing of covid19 by three staff of the
chief of staff office. The Chief of Staff Mallam Abba Kyari was earlier said to
have tested positive to covid 19 too.
All aides at
the Vice President’s wing with the exception of his media aide did not turn up
for work. Sources insight state house
said the VP unlike him reported late to work on Monday afternoon and that he
did not look convincing.
Most of his
aides had face masks and hand gloves on when they reported to work on Monday as
none essential staff stayed away as ordered.
Meanwhile, the president is said to have been
tested on Tuesday morning with the result been negative, further test will be
carried out on the president in the coming day even as the villa goes on a
gradual lockdown if the present situration is anything to go by.
Also the
Bauchi State Governor, Alhaji Bala Mohammed who has been on self isolation
since he shook hands with son of former Vice President, Mohammed Atiku Abubakar
has tested positive to the COVID-19 pandemic. The governor went into self
isolation and members of his entourage after shaking hands with Mo Atiku aboard
the aircraft Air Contractors in Lagos and his blood samples taken for clinical
examination.
