Behold Chelsea GLORY BOYS!!!


 

It is no longer news that Chelsea are the winners of this seasons UEFA Champions League. However, nothing much is known about the men and boy’s that made this victory possible. So below we bring you a close look at these men of valor. Please read on   

•EDUARDO MENDY

His first season at Stamford Bridge brought a trophy he will forever cherish. What a lucky chap. But give it to him. He is a good buy by Frank Lampard.

Captain fantastic. He has joined the league of Chelsea Legends having won the Europa League and Champions League as skipper. Solid defender and team leader.

•THIAGO SILVA

He came, he saw and he conquered. What he couldn't win all his career, he picked up in Chelsea in his very first season at 35. He must be grateful to Frank Lampard. Silva came with loads of experience which stabilised the defence. He is like a coach/player put together.

A tough defender with the heart of steel. Always motivating others with his performance.

He has finally won everything available in football. EPL, FA Cup, Europa Cup, World Cup and Champions League. He complete player and a delight to every coach.

•KAI HAVERTZ

The hero of the night. A match winner. A smooth operator. A silent destroyer. His goal made the difference. He must be grateful to Frank Lampard for bringing him to Chelsea. In his first season, he won the Champions League.

A lad with a lion's heart. Workaholic. A goal-getter. Always pushing for results in his attacking style and approach. Another of Frank Lampard's boy.

He has started asserting his authority in the midfield to conplement the efforts of Kante. This contributed immensely in this UCL triumph.

His first season has turned a wonder at Chelsea. The English international has been consistent in his performance. He has more loaded in him.

•TIMO WERNER

Still struggling to stamp his feet as lead forward in Chelsea. But his contributions even when he is not on or with the ball has been tremendous. Another of Frank Lampard's buy. Winning the Champions League in his first season will help him settle properly....and his potential will spring up next season.

An intelligent player whose ball winning prowess helps the midfielders and forwards. He is accurate in his passes and his hunger for goals has continued to propel the strikers.

•HAKIM ZIYECH

Sleek, skillful and full of stamina. He is a ball carrier. He must be grateful to Frank Lampard for bringing him to Stamford Bridge. He will be a wonder to many next season.

Though Thomas Tuchel prefers he starts from the bench, but Zouma has manages to keep the managers attention on himself. A strong defender who grabbed more lessons from Thiago Silva.

When he left Real Madrid for Chelsea, critics said he has caged his chances of winning the Champions League. Today his critics eating the words. A midfielder with vision, accurate passes and a tough tackler.

He needed serious competition for his shirt and gloves to sit up. Frank Lampard brought in Eduardo Mendy to pile pressure on him...and today he probably has rediscovered his form

A utility defender but prefers the central defensive role. He got rejuvenated as soon as Thomas Tuchel arrived. Before now, he was a shadow of himself under Frank Lampard.

Highly technical and very experienced. A patient player who avoids clashes with his coaches. His patience has earned him this medal to add to his World Cup medal, Europa Cup medal among others. A true winner and scorer of crucial goals.

Pacy and swift. Skillful and sleek. Good at the wings. Better in the middle. A young chap with potential of reaching the top. He is a true blue.

• TAMMY ABRAHAM

He is lucky he didn't leave as planned on arrival of the duo of Timo Werner and Kai Havertz. He wanted a pay increase but was asked to be patient. He wasn't satisfied and wanted out. Today he is a Champions League winner. No doubt a good striker on a good day.

•BILLY GILMOUR

He is one of the young boys that the future of Chelsea is tied around. A central midfielder who could become Toni Kroos in no distant time. A good holder of the ball...full of confidence.
