Anambra State Government Places Bounty On Akunyili’s Killers

 A bounty has been placed on the killers of the late NAFDAC DG’s husband, Chike Akunyili.by the Anambra State Government. 

The Anambra State Governor Willie Obiano, has announced a reward of N20 million for anyone with useful information that could aid the arrest of gunmen that killed the husband of former information minister, Dora Akunyili, Dr. Chike Akunyi.    

Dr Akunyili was killed at Umuoji in Idemili North LGA of Anambra State on Tuesday evening. 

It  was gathered that the deceased driver and escort were also killed during the attack.

A source close to the family said the deceased was still at the University of Nigeria Nsukka Alumni Association (UNAA), where the late Dora was honoured some hours before he was killed.
