Man Sentenced to Double Life in Prisonment For Rape and kidnapping

Justice Abiola Soladoye of an Ikeja Domestic Violence and Sexual Offences Court on Wednesday described  a 35 year old native doctor Prince Tom as a toxic being whose attitude even in the dock is wicked and deathly.

The Judge said these while sentencing him to double life imprisonment base on the two count charge of kidnapping an under age and raping and under age.

"In view of all evidence presented in court, I am convinced that the accused is guilty of these two counts" the judge said.

She pointed to the fact that the evidence of PW 1, who happened to be the victim had remained constant, and it is the fact, because it is an actual narration of what happened, and remain unshaken even during cross examination. 

Soladoye further noted that facts of the victim evidence were also supported by the evidence of PW2 ,who happened to be the victim's mother as well as all the other witnesses.

The Judge then warn parents not to trust their Children with people whom they don't anything about and not to trust strangers with their Children.

She then sentence the defendant to life in Prisonment for count one and life in Prisonment for count two. The sentence are to run concurrently.
