JOAO ALEX : "BIRTH" OF A NEW RONALDO

Cristiano Ronaldo was just 17+ when he was spotted doing his
thing for Sporting Lisbon as Manchester United came calling in a pre-season
build up. It didn't take Sir Alex Ferguson time to single out the lad....and
like they say the rest is history.
Today, attention of top football agents, scouts and even managers are focusing on 19-year old Joao Alex of Benfica of Portugal who hit a hattrick in the Europa League quarter-final first leg tie against German side Eintracht Frankfurt.
The sterling display of this lad has given his club a massive advantage leading to the second leg encounter which observers say is a mere formality. Before now news has it that Manchester United are ready to pay a whopping £100m for the transfer of Alex to Old Trafford. This fee is to wade off suitors as PSG and Tottenham are also showing interest for the kid bomber.
It is left to be seen where this lad moves to by the end of this season. But if the story of Ronaldo and Manchester United is to be followed faithfully then, Alex could end up at the Theatre of Dreams to be nurtured as a replacement for Ronaldo who is 34 and is facing the exit door of his career. Perhaps with Joao Alex performance yesterday, the search for Ronaldo's replacement may have commenced. How Alex will develop to become the new Ronaldo only time will tell....and if he can actually be the new Ronaldo we wait to see
However, fans of the Juventus ace say, there can only be one Ronaldo as his successor or replacement has not been found and may not even be found. Ronaldo has broken all goal scoring records and even set new ones. He is eyeing a Champions League triumph with Juventus after doing same with Manchester United and Real Madrid. Should he achieve this goal with the Old Lady then he tallies with Clarence Seedorf who won it with Ajax, AC Milan and Real Madrid.
Can Joao Alex go this log?
