Pogba Outlines what Man Utd Means to Him
Paul Pogba
has opened up on his love for Manchester United after missing out on a move
away from the club.
The
Frenchman was tipped to quit United for Real Madrid or Juventus and while
the European window remains open, a move hasn't been ruled out.
Adidas have
teamed up with United to
complete their 'Fabric of Football' series which previously involved Arsenal and Real Madrid .
This film
titled 'The Fabric of Football: Belief' goes behind the scenes and speaks to
first team stars, academy players, fans and staff.
It provides
a real sense of what it means to be a part of the United family, the club's
unique DNA and what it takes to be successful at one of the biggest football
clubs in the world.
We hear
from Paul Pogba , Ole Gunnar
Solskjaer , Nicky Butt and Scott
McTominay amongst others, who tell us about their experiences
at the club and what it feels like to wear the shirt.
In the film,
Pogba talks about being proud of the club's mantra and that there are no
limitations to what they can achieve. He said: "Manchester means belief,
Manchester means possible, impossible doesn't exist here," while a
passionate supporter cried: "Football is a belief and Man Utd is the true
religion!"
Solskjaer
states the importance of working hard and setting the highest standards both
individually and as a collective unit.
He said:
"As long as they [the players] work hard and understand what hard work
means, we'll be on the right path."
United have
made a huge statement of intent with their transfer business this summer and
splashed £145million on new signings.
Harry
Maguire was undoubtedly the biggest acquisition and became the world's
most expensive defender when United parted with £80million for his services.
Aaron
Wan-Bissaka arrived from Crystal Palace for £50million
alongside Daniel James from Swansea City for £15million, as
Solskjaer looks to be putting his faith in young blood.
United
welcome Chelsea to Old Trafford this Sunday 11th August when the two
sides will get their respective domestic campaigns underway at 16.30 (UK time)
