I Want My Stay at Estudiantes Extended, Marcos Rojo Begs Manchester United

Marcos Rojo
has told Ole Gunnar Solskjaer that he does not want to return to Manchester
United.
The
Argentina international returned to his boyhood club Estudiantes on loan in
January, initially for the remainder of the season.
Rojo managed
to make just one appearance before he was sidelined through injury and now the
coronavirus pandemic has halted the season in Argentina.
The 30-year-old is due to return to United
this summer, but Rojo is keen for Solskjaer to extend the loan deal.
‘If it depends on me, I will speak to Manchester United’s management about the possibility of staying here for another six months,’ he told Estudiantes Y Su Gente.
‘I will feel a tremendous sense of pain if I
have to leave after playing in so few games
‘I am completely recovered now, and fit to play once more.’
Speaking
last month, Estudiantes chairman and former United midfielder Juan Veron said
he expects Rojo’s loan to be extended.
He said: ‘He
is fine, surely now with all this, Marcos’ stay will be extended, because
everything stopped.’
