Otedola Hosts Dangote, Rabiu at Dinner Honouring Hamzat

 

Chairman of BUA Group, Abdul Samad Rabiu, has described a private dinner hosted by billionaire businessman Femi Otedola in honour of Lagos State Deputy Governor, Dr Kadri Obafemi Hamzat, as an evening of friendship and meaningful conversations.

Rabiu disclosed this in a post on his official social media handle on Sunday, saying the gathering took place at Otedola’s residence.

The dinner was attended by Aliko Dangote, chairman of the Dangote Group and one of Africa’s wealthiest businessmen.

Rabiu expressed appreciation for the invitation, describing the occasion as a memorable opportunity for the business leaders to share warm fellowship and engage in meaningful discussions.

Otedola’s relationship with Hamzat dates back to their school days. In a separate social media post, the billionaire businessman recalled that they shared a bunk bed at boarding school nearly five decades ago.

The gathering comes as Hamzat, who has served as Lagos deputy governor since 2019, prepares for the 2027 governorship election.

The dinner brought together prominent figures from Nigeria’s business community in a private gathering celebrating their longstanding relationships with the Lagos political leader.
